To do this we help you to understand what it is that is creating your symptoms, then, working together we formulate a plan to get you pain free.

Osteopathy is a way of assessing, diagnosing, treating and preventing health problems by improving movement and mobility. Osteopathy is based on the belief that the bodies health depends on the joints, muscles, ligaments, tendons and connective tissue all functioning smoothly together. As Allied Health Professionals, Osteopaths are government regulated and their degree or Masters level qualifications allow them to assess neurological conditions such as disc injuries, sciatica, referred symptoms (pins and needles or tingling) and many more. Osteopaths treat the whole body from head to toe although we are better known for treating back and neck pain as this is the most common presentation. Osteopaths are now working within and recognised by the NHS and our treatment is recommended for low back pain. As well as joint pain, we treat a range of other injuries including muscle strains, ligament and tendon sprains and tears.

Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) is an assessment for golfers of all abilities based on 20 years of PGA tour professional and golf enthusiast analysis at the centre in Orlando, USA. The analysis looked at their physical abilities, their swing mechanic and the injuries they sustained. From this analysis an assessment protocol ‘Body Swing Connection’ was devised that highlighted 16 functional movements that are required to complete an ‘efficient’ golf swing. The information also showed and linked physical restrictions to particular long term injuries but also showed the influence on the players swing. The TPI believes that ‘there is one efficient way for every player to swing and it is based on what the player can physically do.’ The results of an assessment can be used to not only build a physical improvement programme but also to help your golf professional build your most efficient swing at that time, by knowing your physical restrictions. The Body Swing Connection is used to show measurable improvements. As improvements are seen your golf professional can then adapt your swing to incorporate the changes.

Testimonials

“Jason’s depth of knowledge was clear from the offset with me and the way in which he explained things made it very easy to understand my own issue. For me, thats what sets him apart from previous people I’ve seen.I have not yet finished my treatment with him as it may be a long road but I am now equipped with a direct and clear plan to work towards and can already feel the improvements. I was also impressed with his strict following on the COVID guidelines when I’m in the clinic.”

“Jason has been immensely helpful over the last couple months. I must admit I had been putting off going to see someone. I met Jason and thanks to his techniques and very articulate way of explaining the mechanics of how things in the body are connected, it's been immensely helpful and inspiring. Absolutely feeling more in control of things and better every day. Couldn't recommend him more.”
